VoiP Data Centre
This is a phrase coined by Soft Telecom to describe a new type of service provider specialising in routing voice as distinct from data traffic. It means a service provider who can connect directly to fixed line telcos, VoIP providers and mobile operators. As well as building Asterisk PBX systems in Ireland, we also specialise in hosting IP PBX systems for customers. From the data centre calls are routed to minimise costs. An example would be routing landline -to- mobile calls direct to mobile provider networks. Effectively this converts the call to a much cheaper mobile-to-mobile tariff.
