Vizor was one of the very early adopters of VOX Office which was first installed
at our premises in Ballsbridge in Dublin in September 2004. The decisive factors
in persuading us to deploy VOX were the ability of the team who developed the
product and the incredible flexibility of the solution.
We had two particular requirements that were not easily addressed by more traditional PBX vendors. First, we wanted to avoid recruiting a full-time receptionist when we moved office but we did want a way of screening calls. Second, we have a number of staff who work from home and we needed to be able to accommodate extension dialling to these team members.
Vox Office was able to deliver on both of these requirements. Part of the service is Hosted Reception. Calls are answered in our name, screened and then transferred to the relevant staff member. Its simple and efficient and means that we do not have to employ a receptionist. Remote workers with broadband connections can log on to the PBX over residential broadband. We even have one staff member in Australia who we can call for free and vice versa at any time.
In general, our experience has been that VOX Office has proved robust, stable, reliable and flexible enough to meet all our business needs since it was deployed over a year ago and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone considering upgrading or installing a new phone system.
