#1 Java Developer Vacancy

Software Development company based in the City Centre (Dublin) and working in the telecommunications and VOIP sector are looking for an experienced (3-5yrs) Java Developer with strong skills in web service development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple aspects of developing, programming, maintaining and supporting systems for the business, be self-motivated.


Job Responsibilities (specific duties):

Reporting to the Technical Architect and by extension to the CTO, the Developer shall:

-> develop and maintain java based webservice utilising (apache, axis, tomcat)
-> install and configure *nix servers and proprietary applications (training provided)
-> set up and execute test scenarios and deliver into live production systems and applications
-> produce project definition, maintenance and operational documentation
-> actively participate in strategic review, planning and improvement mechanisms and documents
-> ability to communicate clearly, meet deadlines and work in a multi-disciplinary team a must


Minimum Qualifications (include skills, experience and education):

Education:
3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Education level: A1/graduate/bachelor or higher.
- Bachelors of Computer Engineering, Masters or higher degrees are an asset

Solid knowledge of :  

- Java
- Apache
- Axis
- Tomcat
- Spring
- Hibenate
- WSDL
- MySQL

Experience:


- TCP/IP & Networking
- Working knowledge of telecoms and wireless
- Excellent communications, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to changing environments
