VOX Office IP PBX increases personal productivity with a range of tools delivered through your web browser and through the new Vox for Windows application.
These tools allow you to manage your telephone in a way that suits your style of working. If you struggle with call redirect on a telephone handset you can easily manage the process through the familiar web browser or PC application. But if you are happy working through a handset then just continue to do so. No problem.
Provides a list of calls made and received. Allows you to add an unknown contact to the address book quickly and easily, add notes to any call to ensure a permanent and undeletable record of what was said. Using the label feature means you can label calls using labels relevant to your business. Clicking the phone icon opposite any entry in the register dials the number automatically. For dialled calls, Vox Office IP PBX gives details of the cost of the call based on the built in tariff engine. Custom search allows you to find details of calls that meet specific criteria eg all calls to and/or from an individual between specified dates. Very useful when you need to review all contacts with a particular person.
Voicemails can be picked up through VOX or direct from the handset. A copy of all voicemails is also emailed to you as a .wav file. As a result, you are much less likely to miss important messages.
The tools available under settings allow you to set up the phone to work the way you want it to. Profiles can be set up to deal with different circumstance such as being out of the office or in a meeting. For example, when out of the office, the phone can be set up to redirect to a mobile or another user. Simply select a profile and the phone will behave as specified in that profile. Each profile can be set up with relevant, personalised greetings.
is exactly that. A comprehensive database of contacts and the companies to which they belong. Using this structure, valuable information can be gathered on contact levels with organisations and not just the individuals within those organisations. The address book is quickly searchable and also offers 'click to dial'.
For those who don't want to use 'click-to-dial' speed dials provide a 3-digit calling alternative. They are simple to set up and are also useful if you want to provide a white list of allowed international phone numbers while applying call barring to international numbers generally.
Allows users with the necessary permissions to look at reports on call billing, user call history or contact call history. Call billing means that you can validate bills from the phone company. User call history allows for a review of all activity for a particular user or all users over a specified time period. Reports are analysed versions of Asterisk CDR's and Asterisk Queue log files.
