Soft Telecom goes West.

Soft Telecom has just completed its first overseas assignment and one of its largest PBX installations to date. The client is Heritage Web Solutions of Provo, Utah one of the largest and most highly regarded Web design and hosting companies in the US.

With over 170 seats and some very sophisticated telephony management requirements the installation was a real challenge for Soft Telecom. However, the system was rolled out over a weekend and went ‘very smoothly’ according to Kevin Morrill, VP of Information Technology at Heritage.

For Soft Telecom, the deployment represented a first step into international markets as part of the company’s strategy to develop as a provider of IP Telephony solutions around the world. It also demonstrated the company’s ability to compete with some very prestigious vendors and win business from them.
