Soft Telecom is delighted to announce a first in Irish telecommunications with the introduction of its hosted broadband PBX service, Vox Hosted.

Designed for small business that want the benefits of advanced PBX solutions but cannot justify the cost of such systems, VOX Hosted means that advanced telephony features such as hunt groups, IVRs, call groups, call queues, unified messaging and conference rooms are now available to any organisation in a very cost-effective package. In addition, with its advanced reporting features VOX Hosted can tell business managers as much about their organisation as their accounting systems.

The solution is simplicity itself. The customer signs up to the service from Soft Telecom which means that the only equipment they need to buy is IP handsets. These can be either hardware or software based. The user connects to the service over a standard ADSL broadband connection. This means that a small organisation with maybe 4 phone lines can dispose of at least 2 of these reducing line rental charges by half. All the set-up is handled by Soft Telecom who will also customise the service to precisely map the clients business processes.

Termination services are provided by Smart Telecom and mean that PSTN call charges are some of the lowest available in Ireland . Eircom numbers can be transferred in a matter of days so signing up to the service is painless and geographic numbers can be provided for most major population centers.
