Quick Start
VoxOffice 2.5.5
PBX Server Administration
Quick Start Guide
Introduction
This guide is designed to help the Administrator quickly set up and deploy a
VoxOffice PBX. It assumes that you have set up the server and that all the system
information has been input correctly. You are now ready to start building your PBX.
While the approach described here is not the only one that can be followed, it is a
reliable method of ensuring that you are up and running as quickly as possible. The
key is to first have a plan about the general shape of the PBX that you wish to set
up. This can include schematics of call flows and structures or may be just a
written list. The beauty of VoxOffice is that if you set the PBX up in a particular
way which you subsequently find does not suit your business needs, it is a simple
matter to change it.
Logging In
Once the VOX pbx administrator application is launched it is necessary to
authenticate with the server. By default the login credentials are admin/admin. It
is also necessary to specify the IP Address of the server and the port number the
application is running on. The default port number is 8080, ex: 192.168.1.1:8080
