From here, an administrator can select the Extension type through the drop-down
menus available. In addition, the Administrator can apply a Timer and an Out
Extension to the extension if it is a Call Queue or an IVR Extension type. (See below
for more on Timers).
An out extension is the destination for a call that arrives outside of the timer
profile settings. For example, an out extension my send the call to a generic
voicemail box if the call is received outside of normal office hours.
