PBX Configuration
VoxOffice™ 2.5.5
PBX Server Administration
Extensions
Having set up a framework by adding a virtual PBX, the next step is to add some basic
building blocks to that framework. The first such building blocks are described as
Extensions. This word includes but is not confined to simple user extensions as we shall see.
When you click on Extensions a screen similar to the following will load:
Figure 22 - Extensions List

You will notice that the menu bar has two extra icons in this screen. The first lets the
Administrator export the data in the file to Excel. This ‘Export’ feature is helpful for sorting
what can be long lists of data. The second feature lets the Administrator customise config
files to set-up special extension types.
Note: As with all list displays in VoxOffice, the Extensions list can be sorted by any of the
column headings by clicking on the column title.
There are a total of 11 standard extension types which are available for use in configuring
your PBX. Clicking on the ‘All Types’ drop-down menu lets you select all extensions of a
particular type.
Clicking the ‘Add’ icon opens the following pop-up.
