PBX Configuration
VoxOffice 2.5.5
PBX Server Administration
Virtual PBXs
A powerful feature of VoxOffice is that it supports virtual PBXs. This means that on a single
server you can have many PBXs all configured differently. For example, an administrator
may wish to have separate PBXs for different companies within a group or for different
departments within the same company. Either way, setting up these virtual PBXs is very
straightforward.
When you select the Virtual PBX option a list of Virtual PBXs already set up (if any) are
displayed. This is the first of a number of screens which follow a similar pattern. Across the
top of the screen are four icons which let you Refresh, Add, Edit or Delete a selected item.
Down the left hand side are the range of menu choices available.

The screen lists the Virtual PBXs which have already been set up and allows you to
add more by clicking on the Add icon. Clicking on this Add icon loads the
following pop-up.

Filling in the Name and Description fields and clicking the Apply button adds a new
virtual PBX. The Virtual PBX is simply a framework around which a complete PBX is
built.
